Munson Hospital IS now asking for masks, and the need is urgent!  Nurses from Munson Hospital have contacted me and requested our help!  Masks are also needed for first responders.

There are a lot of face mask patterns floating around out there, and not all of them will be useful to our caretaker heroes!  No one wants to invest time, energy or stash making something that can't be used.

Per these nurses' feedback - please don't make masks with elastic ear loops - their ears are being rubbed raw - and the elastic will not hold up to the repeated washings with sterilization products used!  Ties are preferred. No flannel - it is too hot.  Masks with a pocket - in which they can place a filter - are also preferred.  These masks will be worn over the N95 masks to extend the length of time the N95 masks can be used.

Embroidery Club:
If you enjoy the art of hand embroidery, or want to learn to embroider by hand, this group is for you!  Each month, we come together to learn and practice new stitches and work on a small project, designed especially for this group.  Finish them as small individual projects, or combine them into one larger piece.  Pattern and prepared background fabric is included! Meets monthly, with Thursday and Saturday options.   Sign up now, on our Classes Page

Our Meadowbrook Acres Wool Stitch Club
