Intro to Sewing: In this class, you will learn the basics of using a sewing machine, including winding bobbins, adjusting stitches and needle position, straight and curved stitching. You'll complete a project each week in this 3 week class. Typically offered 3-4 times per year. Sew Fun: If you're new to sewing but already know the basics of operating a sewing machine, join us at a "Sew Fun" class for a fun sewing project that can be completed in one class. Beginner Quilt Making: Learn the basics for making beautiful quilts! We'll cover accurate cutting, pressing and piecing, borders, layering, basting and machine quilting, and finally binding. You'll come 4 weeks, 3 hours each time, to learn all the basics! Skill Builder Sampler: A sampler is the perfect way to learn techniques to take your skills to the next level! You'll learn how to make half-square triangles, friendship stars, flying geese, log cabins and set your blocks with sashing in this class.		Better Bindings: Learn to bind your quilts completely by machine! It's faster and studier, You'll learn how to make beautifully mitered seams, sharp corners, and perfectly joined tails. As a bonus, you'll also learn how to do a faux piped binding! Machine Quilting with Your Walking Foot, #1 and #2 In this class, you'll learn how versatile the walking foot is for quilting your projects, as well as easy. It's not just straight lines and stitch-in-the-ditch! UFO Classes: Have a project that you need a little help with, or need motivation to finish? This is the place for you! You'll have a fabulous instructor to help you get over the hurdles so you can get that project done! Two to four UFO sessions are offered each month, with dates and times varying.
