In this class, we cover essential rotary cutting techniques, proper pressing methods & fabric piecing. We will set machines up for a 1/4 inch seam and strip-piece blocks; stitch blocks into rows and rows of blocks together; figure and apply borders.
This class meets 3 consecutive weeks, for two hours each.
PREREQUISITE: This is a hands-on class. Before taking this class, you must know how to operate your sewing machine and be able to stitch a straight line, wind bobbins, thread your machine, change the needle, adjust the thread tension, change stitch length/width, and know-how to change needle position if the machine allows it.
