Paper Piecing: Trim the Tree

Paper piecing, also known as foundation piecing, is a technique for creating shapes, angles, and sharp points that can't be done using regular piecing techniques.  In this class, you will learn have a choice of three different sizes for your project.  The pattern includes tissue paper foundations for making six wall quilts, two each of three sizes!
This tree quilt is a great way to use up scraps of fabric, and is fun to embellish. Add buttons, beads, charms, embroidery, lace, or other trims to decorate your holiday tree. 

Supply List
Little Bits Trim the Tree III Pattern
Add-a-quarter ruler
Rotary cutter and mat
Scissors, pins, water soluble glue pen or glue stick
Fabric scraps and pieces depending on the project size- quantities shown are an approximate total of scraps and pieces.

Requirements: Must have good understanding of your sewing machine and basic piecing.
