Rope Bowls Class

We'll wrap, coil and stitch up one of these wonderful bowls. And we're sure that you'll want to make more! They are great for displaying, storing things, perfect for filling and gifting!


Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class time with listed supplies, machine ready & threaded

Supply list :            

• Mixing bowls Pattern
• Fabric: Bring either 3 different 10" squares OR a 1/4 yard of one fabric OR an assortment of scraps, equivalent to a 1/4 yard total and pressed well. Scrap pieces should be at least 15" in length and at least 3" wide.
• Large Wonder Clips and Pins       
• Sewing machine with Zigzag foot and machine manual
• 50wt cotton thread, with a full bobbin wound and ready. Bobbin thread will show on the outside of the bowl, and top thread will be inside the bowl. They do not have to be the same color.
• New jeans needle, size 110
• Stiletto
• Scissors
• Rotary Cutter and mat
• Glue Pen or glue stick
• 100% cotton clothesline by the Gypsy Quilter. Make sure that the clothesline fits well under your presser foot. Small machines may not have the clearance or power to stitch on clothesline. We have clothesline samples available if you want make these.
