Sew Fun Project
Saturday Sew is not for learning basic sewing machine operations, but is project focused in order to expand the student's sewing skills and knowledge.
Prior to taking Saturday Sew, the student must be confident in the following skills: Winding and installing a bobbin; threading the machine; sewing a straight line. If you are not yet comfortable working with your sewing machine, we suggest taking our Intro to Sewing class before joining Saturday Sew.
You will need your own sewing machine for this class and should also bring the machine's manual.
Please read the supply list carefully and come prepared with all of the supplies listed. Come in a few days before to purchase your fabrics and any needed supplies. Students receive a 10% discount on any purchases made for the class, as well as any purchase made on class day.
On the day of the class, please arrive a few minutes early to be set up and ready to begin by the class time. Each Saturday Sew project will take approximately 2-3 hours to complete.
If you don't already have a sewing machine, a loaner machine is available when arranged in advance.
