Tool School: Scrap Crazy 6

The template does all the work, you just choose fabrics and one of many design options/layouts. We will learn the basic block and its options, plus blocks that use just some of the templates in the set. If you've ever thought about making a "Victorian" style crazy quilt, this is a great way to do it, and a chance to use some of the decorative stitches on your machine!

Supply list:

Creative Grids' Scrap Crazy 6 Templates
Fabric: A variety of fabrics will be needed, totalling about 1 yard all together. You can choose to bring any combination of scraps (as long as most are larger than 6" square) and/or various things like 10" squares, 4-1/2" x width of fabric, 6" x Width of fabric strips, fat quarters or 1/4 yard pieces. Make sure to have several backgrounds and several small scale prints.
Sewing machine (also bring your manual!) with a sharp needle installed.
Rotary cutter and cutting mat
Scissors, pins
Seam Align glue is helpful but not strictly required.
Bringing a mini iron and small pressing surface is optional
