The Laura Jacket

The Laura Jacket is a striking ladies' patchwork jacket pattern crafted with your unique style in mind. Make a statement with this quilted jacket using your favorite fabric collection or that cherished scrap stash. Recommended for intermediate sewers. Sizes XS to Size XXL.

Nancy will be your guide to creating your own special jacket.  The class will meet three times, with an extra week between session one and two for ample homework time.

Pre-class preparation:
Check Pattern for the size you need. Copy pattern size onto pattern-ease and try on before coming to class. Bring the pattern and the one copied onto pattern ease to class.*

12 or more fat quarters for Jacket body
Lining fabric as per pattern (depends on size being made)
½ yard coordinating fabric for binding
¾” bias binding maker
Thermore polyester batting per size needed
Sewing machine, ¼”foot and/or walking foot
Scissors, pins
Rotary cutter, mat
Coordinating thread(s) for piecing and quilting
Buttons if desired
