In this lecture/discussion type class, you will learn the skills for selecting the right needle and thread for your project, and how to decode those mysterious numbers on the thread and needle labels.

We will discuss needle sizes and types, the advantages of each, and how determine which size and type will work best for the project you're sewing.

And what thread should you use? We will cover how to determine the "weight", "ply" and fiber content of threads so you can make the best choice for your project.
