Kid's Quilt Class

In this class, students will make a lap size quilt using precut 2-1/2 inch strips, which are included with the class.  The rail fence style quilt will feature 6 inch finished blocks and a 3" border. Instructor/staff will perform all rotary cutting as needed. The quilt will be turned and tied, finishing at 35" x 46".  

Class meets 3 times (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) for 2 hours each.  Homework between classes is likely and must be completed before the next class.

Supply List for first session:
Sewing machine, preferably with a 1/4" foot.
Neutral color 50 wt cotton thread.
Scissors, pins
20 piece 2-1/2" strip roll (included)
Additionally, you will need the following for the second & Third sessions:
Border fabric 3/8 yd
Backing Fabric 1 3/8 yd
Batting (crib size)
