Placemat Palooza

This is our annual drive to make and collect placemats to go out to seniors and shut-ins served by the Meals on Wheels program.  The placemats we collect are delivered by MOW Drivers with clients' Holiday Meal in December.  Our goal is to collect 500 by early December, so we need everyone's help!

Fabric is provided (fabric donations accepted, if you'd like to reduce you stash!)  Bringing your own fabric is fine as well.  We also provide flannel  as a replacement for batting, because we are asked to make the Meals on Wheels placemats thin. 

We will teach a different pattern or technique on each Placemat Palooza date.  The class is free to all who register in advance and donate two or more placemats to our Meals on Wheels cause.  No one is required to take the class or make a specific pattern.

Bring a dish to pass if you want to participate in a pot luck lunch, or simply bring your own lunch.
